Urvashi Sharma made her presence felt in ‘Khatta Meetha’ despite the fact that she was not the main lead of the film. With the fact that lead roles are not falling into her lap these days, the actress is
happy with the fact that she has a special song and dance appearance in ‘Aakrosh’ which, Urvashi says, is not ‘an item song’ but a situational track that takes the narrative forward. This number voiced by Shreya Ghoshal is a celebration track about a group of friends having fun with the bride-to-be and preparing her for what lies ahead in life.
“Yes, this is for the first time that I would be seen in a ‘ghaghra-choli’. I had some real good fun shooting for the song, more so because it is such an integral part of the film. Otherwise typically when a song is just placed in the film for an item appearance, it sometimes stands out like a sore thumb. Thankfully, this is not the case in Sasural Munia”, adds Sharma. shi who had made her debut in the thriller NAQAAB.
