Director Milan Luthria takes back the film to 70’s and 80’s when Mumbai was under the cloud like Haji and Dawood. He uplifted the same in his film and makes it a good watch. The script, dialogue, cinematography, dress designing etc all played a prime role in making ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbai’ a worth watching. To lift up reality in reel is a tough job and it becomes even tougher when one has to frame his characters to the 70’s and 80’s style. But director Milan Luthria is successful in doing so.
